THERAPY SERVICES

This isn’t just therapy. It’s a return to yourself and/or clarity with how to navigate moving forward in life.

You’ve learned how to function at a high level. You show up, push through, and hold everything together. From the outside, it may even look like you have it all handled.

But internally? Your mind rarely slows down. Your body stays on edge. And no matter how much you accomplish, it never quite feels like enough.

This is where we do deeper work.

Hi! I’m Kay, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, trauma-informed therapist, Certified Sound Healer & Breathwork Facilitator, Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT300), nervous system educator, and consultant.

At The Wright Advocate, individual therapy is designed for high-functioning adults who are ready to move beyond surface-level coping and create real, lasting change. Together, we’ll uncover what’s driving your anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and patterns of overextension. The idea is to no longer just manage life, but actually experience it with clarity and ease.

My approach is both trauma-informed and results-driven, blending evidence-based practices with holistic techniques that support your nervous system, not work against it. This means we don’t just talk through your experiences, we help your mind and body process them.

Through our work, you may find that you experience:

  • Feeling more calm, grounded, and emotionally regulated

  • Reduce overthinking and mental fatigue

  • Strengthen boundaries without guilt

  • Heal unresolved experiences that continue to impact you

  • Reconnect with a version of yourself that feels clear, steady, and in control

This is a space where you don’t have to perform, prove, or hold it all together.

Just intentional, high-quality support tailored to who you are AND where you’re ready to go next.

If you’re ready for therapy that meets you at your level and helps you move differently in your life, you’re in the right place.

Therapy Modalities & The Process

I combine evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement, Desensitization, & Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with restorative, body-centered practices like breathwork, sound therapy, and yoga.

This blend honors both body, mind, and soul: EMDR can help resolve trauma and unprocessed memories, reduce anxiety and depression; CBT reshapes unhelpful thinking patterns, and DBT builds practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships. Breathwork, sound, and yoga support nervous system regulation, deepen self-awareness, and ground therapeutic gains in bodily experience.

You will receive a personalized plan that may draw from some or all of these modalities to strengthen resilience, reduce symptoms, and reclaim a sense of safety, agency, and soul-led clarity. Sessions are collaborative and paced to your readiness, emphasizing skill-building, somatic integration, and empowerment.

Whether you’re healing trauma, managing intense emotions, or seeking a more balanced life, this integrative approach gives you practical tools plus somatic support to create meaningful, sustainable change.
